Biohit launches multiple pipette solution

Biohit has announced the launch of a new electronic system it claims will offer a fast and simple solution for multiple dispensing

The company has revealed details of the eLINE Lite, which provides laboratory users with the ability to reduce the risk of repetitive strain injury in pipetting operations.

With a unique electronic tip ejection system, wide volume selection and an integrated TipGuide, Biohit says the new unit will reduce the amount of time used in manual dispensing, as well as the possibility of incorrect selection.

The company adds: "eLINE Dispenser offers accurate and repetitive results also when dispensing problematic liquids such as viscous, high vapour pressure or foaming liquids."

It is noted this makes it ideal when proteins, acetone, buffers, detergents and oils are involved in the laboratory procedure.

Biohit will showcase the solution at the Achema conference in Frankfurt, Germany, which takes place between May 10th and 15th.

Last month, the firm appeared at the SBS conference in Lille, France.
