BMI Healthcare to support Ask Italian Grand Tour
BMI Healthcare has announced its support for the forthcoming Ask Italian Grand Tour, a nationwide fundraising initiative that will be taking place in September 2013.
Made up of a series of activities including sponsored walks, cycles and a triathlon, the tour is aimed people of varying ages and fitness levels and has been organised with the goal of raising 250,000 pounds for the Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity.
BMI Healthcare has pledged to provide nurses and physiotherapists to ensure all participants are kept in top physical condition and remain injury-free during the length of the tour.
It will commence in Aberdeen on September 9th and concludes at Great Ormond Street Hospital on September 27th.
Alaana Woods, head of business-to-business and intelligent health at BMI Healthcare, said the company "hopes that our team of experienced nurses and physiotherapists can help keep the participants fit and healthy during their challenge to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital".
Earlier this month, the company successfully completed an amend and extend arrangement with its banking syndicate, thus strengthening its financial capabilities.
