BMJ Group and Isabel Healthcare to showcase new diagnostic applications

BMJ Group will be attending the upcoming Association of American Medical Colleges annual meeting in order to showcase new diagnostic applications developed alongside Isabel Healthcare.

The two organisations have recently entered into a partnership to create new products that facilitate access to clinical content and diagnosis support via a one-stop portal.

Isabel Healthcare has therefore provided a new diagnostic decision support application that uses integrated evidence-based content from BMJ Group's best practice guidelines to assist medical students and physicians.

Live demonstrations of the new offering will be given at the medical conference in order to show how it can benefit frontline clinicians, while retaining an affordable cost.

Don Bauman, chief executive officer of Isabel Healthcare's US division, said: "Several Isabel Healthcare customers have integrated the use of Isabel into their curriculums and daily practices and we are excited to share their success stories."

According to analysis published in August 2011, BMJ Group saw an improved impact factor for more than half of its journal titles in the last year.
