Boehringer Ingelheim announces CPD webinars for equine vets

18th January 2013

Boehringer Ingelheim will be offering a number of continuous professional development (CPD) webinars aimed at equine health practitioners over the next few weeks.

Following the positive response the company received for its recent summer webinars, a new series of sessions will take place in February and March 2013, hosted by world-renowned experts in their respective fields.

The February 27th talk will be given by Rachael Conwell and will focus on the management of medical colic cases in the field, while the March 6th webinar discusses dentistry in older horses and is presented by Chris Pearce.

Professor Andy Durham will give the third talk on March 13th on endocrinopathic causes of laminitis and the final one will take place on March 20th, with Ian Hughes set to talk through collaborative approaches to laminitis cases.

Each seminar takes place at 20:00 GMT and will be followed by an interactive session with the speaker, where participants are encouraged to email questions to be answered live.

This comes as part of the company's Boehringer Ingelheim Academy programme, which offers managerial and leadership support as well as CPD opportunities.ADNFCR-8000103-ID-801525095-ADNFCR
