Boehringer Ingelheim presents prizes to Royal Dick students

Boehringer Ingelheim has announced the recipients of the prestigious annual awards for anaesthesia, orthopaedics and cardiology, which are presented by its Boehringer Ingelheim Vetmedica division.

Graeme Doonauaght, Oliver Dack and Stephanie Goldschmidt from the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies in Edinburgh were nominated for the awards by the respective heads of departments at the college.

Tim Bentall, territory manager at Boehringer Ingelheim, presented the winners with their prizes, which will aid their future professional development.

Boehringer Ingelheim Vetmedica is the dedicate animal health division of the multinational healthcare company and was founded in the 1950s, before establishing a UK presence in 1980.

It has since expanded to become the fourth largest veterinary pharmaceutical company in the UK and is also one of the fastest-growing, as well as ranking among the top ten animal health companies in the world.

The firm provides a wide range of both therapeutic and preventative products, both for companion animals such as dogs, cats and horses and for farm animals and livestock.
