Cannon Hygiene to support Envirocomp’s UK launch

Cannon Hygiene is teaming with fellow OCS Group member Envirocomp on the launch of the latter company's first UK plant in Rochester in autumn this year. 

Envirocomp is the world's first company to compost waste from absorbent hygiene products, with the effectiveness of its business model having been proven by its two New Zealand plants in Canterbury and Wellington.

For its UK launch, all types of waste from absorbent hygiene products – such as nappy, feminine hygiene and adult incontinence solutions – will be collected from Cannon Hygiene's commercial customers in south-east England for environmentally-friendly disposal.

Further Envirocomp plants are to open in other parts of the UK in the near future following this initial launch.
