CareFusion launches e-catalogue ordering system

2nd September 2013

CareFusion has simplified the ordering process for its surgical products through the introduction of a new interactive e-catalogue portal.

This new ordering system includes a database of more than 12,000 different products, which is optimised to be easily searched and are sorted based on their names and the type of specialty application in which they are used.

It also features pre-built, recommended trays for more than 25 common procedures from nine different specialty areas, which can be ordered with the click of a button or customised according to specific preferences.

CareFusion based the system on those used by leading online retailers in order to enhance customer experiences and save users time.

Andreas Lex, vice-president and general manager for V Mueller and Snowden-Pencer surgical instruments at CareFusion, said: "The ease to find products, build customised trays and save previous orders will simplify the experience and save valuable administrative time for our customers."

This comes after the firm was recognised as one of the 100 top-performing companies in the world in terms of operational and strategic IT excellence by CIO magazine last week.ADNFCR-8000103-ID-801632436-ADNFCR
