Elsevier Science launches mobile resource for drug information
Elsevier Science is launching a new mobile-optimised online resource designed to provide healthcare professionals with drug information.
The medical information company’s new Clinical Pharmacology Mobile site is a new version of its award-winning Clinical Pharmacology resource, designed for common devices such as BlackBerry and iPhone.
It enables users to access the features and functions available through the main site in a more convenient way, searching databases by treatment names, indications, classifications or potential risks.
Kathy Vieson, vice president and director of clinical drug references for Gold Standard/Elsevier, stated that this service has been introduced to meet a growing professional need.
She added: “Clinical Pharmacology Mobile provides healthcare professionals and students with reliable, need-to-know drug information when and where they need it.”
Last month, the company introduced a number of new electronic resources for use by medical students, including the 3D virtual anatomy program InteractElsevier.
