Eppendorf launches new BioPhotometer D30

Eppendorf has announced the launch of its new BioPhotometer D30, which provides new measurement capabilities and ease-of-use benefits.

The device is the third-generation iteration of the Eppendorf BioPhotometer range, which have become an established standard in the field of life sciences and are compatible with several of the company's other devices and accessories.

It allows measurement data to be recorded for fixed wavelengths and clear data processing functions, making the evaluation of results fast and simple, while also minimising the risk of mistakes.

The BioPhotometer D30 can be used in conjunction with the Eppendorf UVette, a UV-transparent disposable cuvette, and the new semi-micro and macro Vis Cuvettes.

A statement from the company said: "The Eppendorf detection family is used in a broad range of life science applications, including kinetic and fluorescence measurements as well as microvolume measurements."

Last month, the manufacturer added a new product to its Mastercycler range of polymerase chain reaction instruments, the innovative Mastercycler Nexus X1.
