Eppendorf UK appoints pipette service partner

Eppendorf UK has announced the appointment of Limerick-based Calibration Technology as a pipette service partner of its manual liquid handling line in Ireland.

The company is dedicated to the provision of an ISO 17025 accredited calibration service which assists customers in maintaining the integrity of their measurement systems, it added.

Albrecht Wiener, managing director of Eppendorf UK, stated having the Calibration Technology on board as the sole dedicated pipette calibration firm offering an accredited Irish National Accreditation Body service in Ireland means its customers can expect a higher level of service.

Brain Kelly, managing director of Calibration Technology, added: "We are delighted to be partnering with Eppendorf for the calibration and service of their range of liquid handling products and see this as a further endorsement of our company and service."

He concluded the firm looks forward to a successful and mutually beneficial relationship, which will be effective from this month.

In recent weeks, Eppendorf UK announced the launch of its Mastercycler pro product.
