Firefly to handle UK launch of InvestingZone

Firefly has been appointed as the ongoing communications partner of InvestingZone, a venture capital-backed equity platform for buying shares in unlisted companies.

The agency has been tasked with overseeing the UK debut of the service this month and will continue to handle duties including messaging, planning, media relations, bloggers, digital marketing and social media campaigns post-launch.

Firefly's chief executive officer Claire Walker will lead the retained account, reporting to InvestingZone business leader Jean Miller.

InvestingZone selected Firefly for this work after considering a number of agencies with different specialities, ultimately deciding that Ms Walker's team had the best grasp of its needs.

Ms Miller said: "With a new launch it is critical that we integrate all communications elements from digital marketing to media relations. We have confidence in Firefly to advise us and deliver."

The agency is an independent PR firm with a proven track record spanning 25 years, employing 40 people across offices in London, Edinburgh, Munich and Paris.
