Four Communications announces Kinross and Render buyout

Four Communications has purchased a 100 percent stake in the business-to-business and technology PR firm Kinross and Render in a cash and equity deal.

The acquired company boasts a 26-year history of award-winning work and serves clients including Groupon, the Alzheimer's Society, Salix Finance, Siber Systems and The Corporate IT Forum.

Following the acquisition, Kinross and Render will be merged with Four's corporate and crisis PR practice, with the combined team to be led by Sara Render, Kinross and Render's chief executive.

The deal will also see Ms Render remain as chair of Kinross and Render's parent network Ecco International, in which Four has now acquired a stake, meaning future partnerships between the organisations will now be forthcoming.

Thanks to this takeover, Four will become an international player in the business-to-business, technology, retail, financial services and healthcare sectors.

Four Communications chief executive Nan Williams said: "This is the third acquisition in our programme of attracting top-notch independent companies which are leaders in their fields to join the group."
