Henry Schein ranked as one of world’s most admired companies

Henry Schein has been recognised as one of the most admired companies in the world in a new report put together by Fortune Magazine.

The firm was listed top of the Wholesale: Health Care industry category in the list, as well as topping the rankings in each of its nine sub-categories. This marks the 13th consecutive year that Henry Schein has been named a Fortune Most Admired company.

It represents a validation of the organisation's commitment to corporate social responsibility, with Fortune's list being recognised as one of the most prestigious and well-known in the industry.

Stanley Bergman, chairman of the board and chief executive officer of Henry Schein, said: "Our first-place ranking in each of the nine sub-categories, including social responsibility and global competitiveness, demonstrates again that a company truly can do well by doing good."

He added that the firm will continue to give back to society through engagement with suppliers, customers and shareholders in future.

This comes after the firm supported the launch of the new African and Caribbean Dental Association UK through its Henry Schein Care corporate responsibility programme earlier this year.
