Heraeus Kulzer’s Mondial i dentures perform strongly in trial

Heraeus Kulzer's Mondial i denture teeth have demonstrated their strong wear-resistant credentials in a recent comparative study.

In a trial assessing the performance of the dentures compared to three competing products, Mondial i showed the least depth and volume lost of the four brands tested at low, intermediate and high chewing cycles.

As denture teeth wear down over time, the prosthesis loses occlusal relationship stability and chewing efficiency, meaning it is vital for these products to offer the highest possible level of resistance to wear abrasion.

Mondial i teeth utilise advanced Nanopearl materials to deliver greater longevity, in addition to a more lifelike opalescence, enhanced colour stability and better bite characteristics.

Heraeus product manager Lesley Melvin said: "To have so clearly outperformed our competitors underscores Mondial i's unmatched ability to meet the needs of dental practices, dental laboratories and their patients."

The Heraeus Kulzer business officially became part of the Mitsui Chemicals group following the completion of a takeover deal last month.
