Ketchum to promote Digital Shoreditch Festival
Ketchum has been hired to help promote this year's Digital Shoreditch Festival among brands, entrepreneurs, creatives and agencies.
The communications firm is aiming to help raise the profile of the annual event at London's Tech City, which provides a showcase for technology, digital and creative businesses within the UK, reports PRWeek.
Having been handed the brief without a pitch by Digital Shoreditch, Ketchum will be providing a speaker lineup that includes guests from Google, IBM, Mixcloud, Ogilvy and Mather, the London School of Economics and the BBC.
It will work closely with supporters, speakers and other businesses in the region, including the Tech City Investment Organisation.
Ketchum's European managing director for technology David Vindel said: "Celebrating outstanding creativity is critical to the UK. The UK's creative industries are a real success story."
This comes after Ketchum appointed Denise Kaufmann as the new chief executive officer of its London office earlier this month.
