Kodak announces launch of orthodontic imaging software

Kodak has announced the launch of the latest update for Kodak Orthodontic Imaging Software.

Version 9 of the application has been released by PracticeWorks and includes a number of new features aimed to help dentists optimise their case presentations.

These include a new slide show viewer, the ability to superimpose two images, a movie player and editor, the ability to morph before and after images, a stretch tool, 1:1 printing capability, Mac compatibility and online help.

“The perfect accompaniment to OrthoTrac software, the new version 9.0 contains editing tools, a gallery editor, flexible gallery displays, word processing integration and painting tools,” the company said.

It added it also features optional treatment planning modules and cephalometric tracing.

Last month, PracticeWorks Systems announced the launch of MEDiVIsion CiC Patient Education software that integrates with the Kodak Orthortrac Practice Management solution.
