Leo Pharma wins European Business Award for growth strategy
Leo Pharma has been recognised for its recent growth achievements at the European Business Awards in Istanbul earlier this month.
The pharmaceutical company was presented with the international growth strategy of the year prize, underlining its industry-leading approach to driving expansion for the benefit of skin disease sufferers around the world.
Founded in 2007, the awards highlight and promote examples of individuals and organisations that have achieved outstanding results across key business disciplines such as environmental concern and customer focus.
Ida Brams, executive director for Leo Pharma's patient strategy and programme office, was on hand to receive the award on the company's behalf and highlighted the importance of clear communication to its overall strategy.
She explained: "We must never lose sense of who we are in the process of growing, because staying true to our values is what will make us succeed in the long run."
Leo Pharma was founded in 1908 and now employs around 4,800 employees worldwide, while marketing drugs to dermatologic and thrombotic patients in more than 100 countries.
