Liberty Communications wins global PR brief with Coriant
Liberty Communications has been hired by newly-formed telecoms business Coriant for a global PR contract.
The agency will lead a new marketing and communications drive that will help to establish Coriant's success as a newly-independent organisation, while raising awareness of the firm among influencers in the industry and potential customers, reports PRWeek.
Coriant was spun off from Nokia Siemens' optical networks business earlier this year and is now owned by Marlin Equity Partners, with its key markets including the UK, the US and Germany.
Jayne Chace, Coriant's chief marketing officer and senior vice-president, said: "The increase in data usage and the dynamic nature of bandwidth-hungry applications is creating both challenges and opportunities for our customers … This puts Coriant in prime position to really make an impact on the market."
Last week, Liberty was included in PRWeek's ranking of the top 40 tech PR agencies in the UK, coming in at number 14 in the overall order.
