Malvern Instruments showcases new products at Bioprocessing Summit

Malvern Instruments is showcasing the latest additions to its biopharmaceutical analysis product range at the 2013 Bioprocessing Summit, which is running from August 19th to 23rd in Boston.

The company is demonstrating its Viscotek SEC-MALS 20 and the Viscosizer 200 devices at the event, having introduced the products in July 2013.

Viscotek SEC-MALS 20 is the manufacturer's latest detector for size exclusion chromatography and can be used to measure the absolute molecular weight of proteins, macromolecules and polymers, while the Viscosizer 200 provides viscosity and molecular size data on UV-active samples.

In addition to these two new offerings, Malvern is showcasing its Zetasizer Nano ZSP light scattering system, which was launched last year as the newest addition to the Zetasizer product family.

It offers unique performance specifications for both size and zeta potential measurement and includes a new protein mobility measurement type in its software.
