Nalco has announced a strong sales momentum during the second quarter of this year.
The global integrated water treatment and process improvement services, chemicals and equipment programmes provider has declared revenues were up by 9.8 per cent to 1.066 billion dollars (533 million pounds).
It also stated diluted earnings per share rose by more than one tenth to 31 cents from the same time last year.
Net earnings in the quarter increased 5.7 per cent to 44.2 million dollars and organic sales growth was 5.7 per cent, which the firm says was again led by its energy services segment.
Erik Fyrwald, the firm’s chairman, president and chief executive officer, said: "Our priorities for the remainder of 2008 generally remain the same, with price capture as our primary focus. In addition, we will put more emphasis on operating expense control."
The organisation claims to be the world’s leading water treatment and process improvement company, delivering significant environmental, social and economic benefits to a variety of industries.
