Nelson Bostock confirms departure of chief executive
Nelson Bostock has announced that its long-serving chief executive officer Lee Nugent will be stepping down from his role in January 2016.
The firm will not be replacing Mr Nugent directly following his departure, with the managing directors of the firm's divisions – Nelson Bostock Unlimited, Fever and Things Unlimited – to report directly to Tim Bonnet, chairman of parent company Creston Unlimited.
Mr Nugent originally joined Nelson Bostock in 1996 and has overseen a significant expansion in the scope of the organisation, taking its total workforce from around 40 to just under 100.
During his tenure, the firm has been named consultancy of the year twice and nominated for more than 80 industry awards.
The outgoing business leader said: "I'm proud to leave behind a tremendously strong management team who I know will continue to produce excellent work on behalf of our clients."
His decision follows the retirement of co-founder Martin Bostock last year and the more recent departure of Fever's joint managing director Frankie Oliver last month.
