Nelson Bostock director takes up UK PR role at Eventbrite

Nelson Bostock's associate director Bethan Thomas has left the agency to take up the role of senior comms manager at Eventbrite.

Ms Thomas will take charge of PR in the UK and Ireland for the global self-service ticketing platform and has been briefed with helping potential customers to understand how they can best use the service, reports Gorkana.

During her time with Nelson Bostock, she headed up its Facebook team for four years and took a lead role in the launch of the EE telecommunications brand in 2012, while she has also been employed by Lewis PR in the past.

She said: "Eventbrite is growing incredibly fast here in the UK so it's a fantastic time to be able to make more people aware of the tools available to them so they can sell more tickets."

The Nelson Bostock group encompasses Nelson Bostock Communications, Fever and Things With Wings, which serve some of the world's largest technology firms between them.
