Norbrook launches ageing pet campaign at BSAVA

12th April 2013

Norbrook Laboratories has launched a new health campaign for elderly pets at the recent British Small Animal Veterinary Association (BSAVA) congress.

To be promoted in vet practices across the UK, the scheme is designed to help pet owners to recognise the signs of ageing in different animals and ensure they get them checked out for potential health problems, reports Veterinary Supplies Magazine.

Practice support materials such as brochures, posters and grooming brushes are to be distributed as part of this initiative, while vets involved in the campaign can also participate in client talks on pet ageing provided by Norbrook's in-house animal health team.

Michelle Jones, Norbrook's small animal brand manager, said: "I would encourage practices to sign up to our campaign as quickly as possible, as the client talks will be offered on a first come, first serve basis."

The campaign will also help promote the company's range of products for older pets, including Propentofylline, Loxicom and Carprieve.

In addition to these activities, Norbrook ran an exhibitor session on the myths of fipronil resistance during the BSAVA Congress.ADNFCR-8000103-ID-801571040-ADNFCR
