Ogilvy Healthworld reveals new senior management appointment

7th September 2009

Ogilvy Healthworld has announced a re-shuffle within its ranks and the moving of a current employee to its senior management echelons.

Matt de Gruchy will take up the post of client service director (CSD) for the UK group after previously occupying the position of managing director of Ogilvy Healthcare’s PR department, reports PR Week.

Mr de Gruchy’s responsibilities in the newly-created job will include advising clients on PR, medical education, digital and advertising issues.

He stated: "The creation of a CSD role in the UK group is an important development. It recognises the increasing importance we see in managing the relationship with and service delivery for our key client base."

Taking over his past role is Antonia Betts, former director of operations for the organisation, who has served the company for around three years.

This news comes after Gloria Gibbons, board member and president of Ogilvy Healthworld and Donna Tuths, the president of Ogilvy Healthworld North America, were appointed joint worldwide chief executives of the firm in August.
