PerkinElmer to showcase oncology products at AACR 2012
PerkinElmer will be showcasing new advances in the field of oncology research at the forthcoming American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) 2012 annual meeting.
The company will attend the industry event in Chicago this week in order to demonstrate innovations with applications in personalised medicine research, as well as holding various talks and events.
Among the products to be highlighted are the NGS Express automated liquid handling workstation, FolateRSense and TLectinSense fluorescent preclinical imaging agents and AlphaLISA cellular epigenetics detection kits.
Other offerings include the LabChip GX nucleic acid separation system, the Columbus image storage and analysis software suite and the EnSpire multimode plate reader.
Kevin Hrusovsky, president for life sciences and technology at PerkinElmer, said: "PerkinElmer remains committed to the fight against cancer through enabling personalised medicine solutions that allow researchers to find, understand and act upon the causes and processes of the disease."
This comes after the firm recently attended the American Chemical Society spring 2012 national meeting and expo, where it demonstrated products such as the Reaction Genius software platform.
