Philips appoints dental professional outreach team

Philips has expanded its dental professional outreach team with the appointment of Mhari Coxon to a new role.

The qualified dental industry expert has been named senior professional relations manager and will take responsibility for handling communications in the expanding oral healthcare sector, reports Dentistry.co.uk.

This appointment has been made as the company seeks to develop and maintain ongoing relationships with key figure in the industry, as well as to draw further attention to Philips' leading position in the field.

Coinciding with this move, Philips' Patricia Rawsthorne will be tasked with applying her expertise to professional education for Philips Oral Healthcare.

She has previously been responsible for the conception and development of Philips' Transitional Support Programme, which was launched at the recent British Dental Trade Association Showcase and has been hailed as groundbreaking.

This comes after the firm announced a six percent year-on-year sales increase in the third quarter of 2011.
