Reckitt Benckiser appoints non-executive director

Reckitt Benckiser, the international pharmacy supplies company, has announced the appointment of a new independent non-executive director.

From the beginning of October, Andre Lacroix will assume his duties with the business, where he will focus on issues relating to marketing and management of Reckitt Benckiser’s operations worldwide.

Having previously held high level management posts at Burger King, Pepsi Cola and most recently Incape, the global car retail company, Mr Lacroix is expected to make a worthwhile contribution to the development of his new business.

Adrian Bellamy, chairman of the Reckitt Benckiser Group, said: “The board is delighted that Andre has agreed to join us.

“He will bring a wealth of international management and marketing business experience to the board.”

Mr Bellamy has been a director at Reckitt Benckiser for several years. He is also a director of the Gap and the chairman of the Body Shop International.
