Reckitt Benckiser chief executive cashes in more shares
Reckitt Benckiser’s chief executive Bart Becht has reduced his stake in the company, following the selling of shares worth 2.85 million pounds.
Sold at 2,851p a time, he sold 100,000 shares and now holds approximately 1.77 million shares beneficially.
Mr Becht – who joined Reckitt Benckiser in 1988 – additionally holds 1.264 shares non-beneficially.
In September, the company announced he has sold more than two million shares in the firm, with the organisation reporting its shares were down five per cent.
Two months ago, Reckitt Benckiser reported its Q3 results.
Data showed the company’s net revenue over the period was 1,664 million pounds, towards a year-to-date total of 4,788 million pounds.
Reckitt Benckiser added its operating profit was 380 million pounds, with net income at 285 million pounds.
Speaking at the time, Bart Becht said the organisation “continued its excellent momentum in Q3”.
He added: “Strong growth came across all regions and Powerbrands, behind heavy media investment and the success of innovations such as Finish Quantum and Vanish Intelligence.
Formed in 1823 by Johann Benckiser, Reckitt Benckiser sells its products in 180 countries and has operations in 60 countries.
Its companies include Vanish, Finish and Harpic.
