ResMed launches Quattro Air full face mask

4th June 2013

ResMed has announced the launch of the new ultra-lightweight Quattro Air full face mask at the annual meeting of the Associated Professional Sleep Societies this week.

The mask is designed for use in positive airway pressure therapy applications and is the lightest product of its kind on the market, weighing only 3.3 ounces – 45 percent lighter than its predecessor, the Mirage Quattro.

It features only four pieces to disassemble and has been optimised for comfort and convenience, while offering beneficial features such as an enhanced dual-wall Spring Air cushion, flexwing forehead support and SoftEdge headgear design.

The ultra-soft latex-free mask comes in three sizes for men and three for women.

Jon Yerbury, ResMed's vice-president for sleep-disordered breathing, said: "ResMed invested more than $100 million (65.38 million pounds) in research and development last year and it's evidenced by the innovation in our products that always put the patient first."

The company also launched a new online tool called SleepSeeker to increase patient engagement with sleep-disordered breathing therapies this week.ADNFCR-8000103-ID-801594581-ADNFCR
