Thermo Fisher Scientific launches new UHPLC system
Thermo Fisher Scientific has introduced a new ultra high-performance liquid chromatography (UHPLC) system at the annual Pittcon industry conference in Philadelphia.
The Thermo Scientific Dionex UltiMate 3000 Biocompatible Rapid Separation liquid chromatography system combines the performance advantages of UHPLC with a corrosion-resistant flow path, even when using harsh solvents.
Optimised for the analysis of proteins, peptides, nucleic acids and biotherapeutics, it offers reliable and durable performance, with the materials used helping to significantly reduce the risk of analytes interacting with internal surfaces of the flow path, thus protecting data quality.
Wulff Niedner, director for HPLC product marketing at Thermo Fisher Scientific, said: "This combination of state-of-the-art technology and low-dispersion flow path is engineered to provide the high-peak capacity and sensitivity needed to analyse complex biomolecules."
Other new Thermo Fisher offerings on display at Pittcon this week include a new trace elemental spectrometer, the world's first miniature NMR spectrometer and a gas chromatography headspace autosampler for organic volatiles.
