TTP Labtech outlines 2012 business success
TTP Labtech has outlined its growth plans for 2013, which will build on the solid foundations laid down last year.
In 2012, the company made a 3.8 million pound investment in research and development and expanded its commercial presence into new markets, resulting in a year-on-year sales increase of more than 20 percent.
This growth was driven by the launch of new biological sample storage and liquid handling offerings for molecular biology applications, as well as rising demand for its established products.
In 2013, TTP Labtech will target the field of molecular biology and is aiming to provide value to customers carrying out next-generation sequencing and real-time polymerase chain reaction work.
Jas Sanghera, TTP Labtech's managing director, said: "With significant opportunities in this space and several other major product developments coming in 2013, these are exciting times for TTP Labtech."
The company also earned praise from pharmaceutical company Dart NeuroScience, which signed an agreement to make use of TTP Labtech's modular compound storage and retrieval systems comPOUND and comPILER last month.
