UCB entering important phase of revenue growth

UCB Pharmaceuticals has announced it is entering an important new phase of revenue growth with limited patent expiry expected until the end of the decade.

The company confirmed it plans to adapt its organisational structure to better align with five opportunities for advancement as it completes its transformation into a biopharmaceuticals organisation.

As part of the move, UCB said it intends to build on the growth momentum of its core medicines and expand its emerging market businesses in order to tap into potential in other areas.

In addition, the firm will deliver on its competitive company profitability and bring breakthrough medicines into the pipeline, while advancing its rich late-stage plans in immunology and neuroscience.

Roch Doliveux, chief executive officer of UCB Pharmaceuticals, said not the cross-over period has been reached the company will aim to align with strategic growth priorities.

He added: "Going forward, it enables us to be even more agile and decisive in a rapidly changing environment, with clear focus on delivering value for all stakeholders."
