Virbac sponsors Horse of the Year Show

Virbac was a sponsor of the Horse of the Year Show (HOYS), which celebrated its 60th anniversary this year.

The show concluded on Sunday, following Irish rider Billy Twomey’s win on Je T’aime Flamenco on Bob Ellis’ technical course, achieving the title of Leading Show Jumper of the Year.

Some 56,000 people went to the show, held at Birmingham’s NEC – making it a sell-out event.

It was also described as “one of the most entertaining HOYS to date” by the organisers.

In addition to the Leading Show Jumper title, Mr Twomey also won the Penwood Forge Mill trophy for his success as a foreign rider, while Paul Nicholls was awarded the HOYS Equestrian of the Year thanks to his success and contribution to the world of racing.
