Weber Shandwick appoints pharmaceutical comms head

Weber Shandwick has announced the appointment of Dominique Jaquest as its new pharmaceutical communications head, marking the latest addition to its UK health team.

Ms Jaquest joins the agency from Chandler Chicco, where she served for nine years, working with major firms such as Pfizer, GlaxoSmithKline, AstraZeneca and Novartis during her time as senior client lead.

Prior to this, she also accrued experience working in-house at both GlaxoSmithKline and AstraZeneca, taking responsibility for managing the latter company's leading heartburn therapy Nexium.

Her appointment comes at a time when Weber Shandwick is actively striving to grow its core pharmaceutical comms business.

The company operates a number of offices across the UK and Ireland, including bases in London, Manchester, Belfast, Dublin, Edinburgh and Glasgow.
