Woodley appoints business development manager

Woodley Equipment Company has announced the appointment of Vijay Manchha as the new business development manager of its clinical trials division, joining the company during a period of growth and expansion.

He will bring extensive experience of the clinical trials industry to his new role, having previously worked for VWR and Fisher Scientific, managing and developing varied accounts from research and academia to pharmaceutical and biotechnology clients.

His appointment will further strengthen Woodley's ability to offer turnkey solutions to the life science industry, with Mr Manchha to be responsible for developing new business within the company's existing global markets.

The new hire will help to reinforce Woodley's status as a supplier of choice to many of the largest companies in the field of clinical research, as well as the partner of small and medium-sized companies around the world.

Founded in 1989, it has been working with companies in the clinical trials sector for more than 20 years and now operates from offices and warehouse premises located in the north-west and south-east of England, as well as a recently-opened US base in Boston.
