Woolley Pau Gyro founder departs to focus on new healthcare consultancy

Woolley Pau Gyro has confirmed that its co-founder and chairman Louisa Pau will be leaving the agency in order to focus on newer opportunities.

Ms Pau has been with the business for 19 years and was appointed to the chairman role in 2010, playing a key role in helping the company greatly expand its horizon over the last two years, reports The Drum.

She spoke of her excitement about taking on a new challenge and her sadness to be leaving behind the agency, while expressing confidence that creative director Dean Woolley and his management team will continue to achieve success.

Ms Pau said: "It's never easy to leave a business you helped to shape, but …  with the rest of the leadership team there, I know the agency is in great hands."

The agency is part of the Gyro group and works with a number of the world's leading healthcare companies, including Abbott, Boehringer Ingelheim, Novartis, Teva and Roche.
