Success for businesses at this year’s Communiqué awards

Last Thursday (6th July) the team popped on their glad rags and headed up to the Grosvenor hotel on Park Lane in London to celebrate the 20^th anniversary of the Communiqué Awards hosted by PM Live.

‘The evening was huge success and as always very well organised’ comments Sales Director Tara O’Brien. ‘It was fantastic to be present and celebrating all the worthy nominees and winners within this forever evolving area within the healthcare industry.’
Zenopa have been supporting the awards for more than 10 years, and wanted to continue to celebrate the work that has been delivered by all businesses within Healthcare communications by supporting the ticket package. All those attending the awards receive their very own ticket tucked into a wallet which showcased our branding. Within the ticket we also added an insert in which we were giving all attendees the opportunity for us to donate £1 on their behalf to UK Sepsis Trust, the winners of the ‘Charity Patient or Professional Association of the Year Award’

Sepsis is a complication of an infection that is under diagnosed and under reported killing 44,000 people in the UK each year. The trust was founded in 2012 by Dr Ron Daniels, and with the help of medical experts, volunteers and dedicated individuals, they have been campaigning to increase public awareness of Sepsis, as well as making it an NHS priority.  Since forming, UK Sepsis Trust’ objectives have started to become a reality. Morality rates within the UK have decreased with an estimated 9,000 people surviving sepsis each year, and Public Health England have funded and adopted the trusts ‘Just ask’ Campaign.
The trust have been challenged to raise £250,000 with Lord Ashcroft double the donation if they reach their target. To help them along the way, we have extended our text donation offer until 31^st of July.
