Shaping the Future of Animal Health: Zenopa at the London Vet Show 2025

I’m looking forward to heading back to the London Vet Show this year on the 20th and 21st of November at ExCeL London. It’s always one of the best events in the animal health calendar and a great place to catch up with people from across the industry. At Zenopa, we work within the Animal Health and Veterinary sectors, supporting organisations through dedicated Commercial Recruitment services in Animal Health & Veterinary sectors while also delivering strong Technical Recruitment solutions across Animal Health & Veterinary sectors. Events like this give us a clear sense of what’s happening in the market, and every year it’s a chance to talk with professionals who share our passion for moving the industry forward.

Joining me is Ben Lodge, Katie Ginger and Luca Sedicina. Together, we support recruitment across a wide range of sales, marketing and technical roles. We’ll be around throughout the show to chat about current hiring trends, what candidates are prioritising, and how businesses can attract and retain the right people.

Last year’s London Vet Show set the bar high. Visitors described it as a “must-have on my yearly calendar” and the UK’s premier veterinary event. Many spoke about the quality of the lectures and speakers, the value of CPD opportunities, and the buzz that comes from being part of such a strong community. That energy, along with the chance to connect face-to-face, is what makes this event stand out. Even those who travelled from overseas said it was well worth the trip.

This year, we’re adding something new to our stand: the Zenopa Culture Questionnaire. It’s a quick and engaging way to discover your ideal company culture profile, giving you an idea of the kind of workplace where you’ll feel at your best. Your responses will also feed into an industry-wide report exploring what culture really looks like across animal health businesses in 2025.

At Zenopa, we spend a lot of time speaking with people across the animal health sector, so we get a clear sense of what they want from their next move and what makes them hesitate. Because of that, our work in animal health recruitment feels grounded in real conversations rather than assumptions.

Most of my day is spent talking with candidates who work in sales, technical support, marketing, regulatory work, and everything in between. They tell us what attracts them to a role, what makes them cautious, and what helps them picture themselves in a new team. When my team speaks with hiring managers, we share that insight so the process feels smoother for everyone involved.

This approach helps us connect companies with people who not only fit the job but fit the way the team works. It’s about placing someone who’ll bring value and genuinely want to stay, rather than filling a vacancy for the sake of it.

If you’d like to arrange a chat about recruitment, market trends or upcoming opportunities, you can book a meeting with me or Ben Lodge ahead of the show.

The London Vet Show always captures what makes this industry special, expertise, collaboration and genuine enthusiasm for what we do. We’re looking forward to meeting you there and hearing your thoughts on how the market is evolving.
