Account Manager
Role Overview
Manage existing client relationships and develop new business across East England, promoting a wide portfolio of analytical instrumentation to sectors including energy, food, metals, and contract testing laboratories.

Role Requirements
Manage and grow customer relationships across the territory
Develop new business within existing and prospective accounts
Conduct regular customer visits with occasional overnight stays
Present and promote analytical instrumentation, particularly for elemental analysis
Collaborate with technical teams to deliver tailored solutions
Maintain CRM records and provide accurate sales forecasting
Person Specifications
Proven experience in technical sales, account management, or business development
Excellent communication skills across all levels of customer organisations
Experience with analytical instrumentation or laboratory environments
Full UK driving licence
Willingness to travel within the defined territory
Package
Base Salary: £40,000 – £50,000
Bonus: 1% commission on all sales (expected £8,000–£10,000 in Year 1)
Company Car: Hyundai Tucson or Kia Sportage
