Area Sales Representative
Role Overview
This Area Sales Representative role is responsible for managing and growing the optometry business across South West England and South Wales. You will take ownership of your territory, working closely with optometrists to deliver consistent sales performance across a clinically differentiated ophthalmic portfolio.
Operating within a culture built on patient focus, product quality, and long-term professional relationships, you will support accounts across the product lifecycle, including pre-launch and launch activity. The emphasis is on structured territory management, credible engagement, and sustainable growth within a compliant pharmaceutical environment.

Role Requirements
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key optometry customers across the territory.
Build a detailed understanding of each account, including clinical priorities and commercial environment.
Drive sales performance across the defined ophthalmic portfolio.
Manage the territory effectively across South West England and South Wales.
Support customers throughout the product lifecycle, including launch and in-market activity.
Person Specifications
Optometry sales background with ABPI qualification (desired).
Optometry sales experience without ABPI will also be considered.
Full driving licence.
