Role Overview

They are seeking a Clinical Educator to develop and deliver expert training on their HCL system for both patients and healthcare professionals (HCPs). This role involves creating and delivering engaging educational content, facilitating one-to-one and group sessions, and translating complex clinical evidence into clear, accessible information. The Clinical Educator will also conduct optimisation sessions to ensure users fully benefit from the system.

Their advanced technology and patient-focused approach have positioned them at the forefront of diabetes management. Following NICE TA guidance, HCL systems are now nationally available, enabling real impact for people living with Type 1 Diabetes.

Role Requirements

Develop, design, and deliver high-quality training materials and presentations for patients, HCPs, and internal teams.
Conduct optimisation sessions with patients and HCPs to support therapy outcomes.
Deliver face-to-face and virtual pump/HCL starts, ensuring clinical and safety standards are met.
Provide pump, app, and software demonstrations and training for new and existing users.
Maintain strong relationships with clinical sites to support onboarding, troubleshooting, and ongoing education.

Person Specifications

Registered General Nurse (RGN) with active NMC registration is ideal, but strong clinical support experience also considered.
Recognised expertise in Type 1 Diabetes and diabetes technologies.
Experience developing and delivering clinical education or training programmes.
Strong knowledge of HCL systems, insulin pumps, and digital diabetes care solutions.
Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.

Package

Base Salary: £45,000 – £55,000 (dependent on experience).
Annual Bonus: 20%.
Car Allowance: £8,100 per annum.
Annual Leave: 25 days plus bank holidays.
