Role Overview
You will take ownership of the UK commercial strategy for the hip and knee business, the company’s flagship portfolio. Reporting directly into senior leadership, the role combines strategic responsibility with a strong field presence, engaging directly with surgeons, hospitals, and key opinion leaders.

Role Requirements
Lead day-to-day operations of the hip and knee division, ensuring profitability, efficiency, and growth.
Report monthly on revenue, profitability, and forward planning, collaborating with counterparts across global markets.
Deliver UK strategy for navigation and AI-driven platforms, aligned with robotics-style sales cycles.
Engage directly with surgeons, hospital management, and other high-level stakeholders to strengthen relationships and drive adoption.
Mentor and develop regional sales managers, leading by example in the field.
Drive strategic planning, P&L management, and continuous improvement across the division.
Collaborate closely with internal teams, fostering a culture of open communication and shared learning.
Person Specifications
Strong orthopaedics background, ideally in joint replacement or similar complex sales cycles.
Minimum 5 years’ management experience, with proven ability to mentor, coach, and develop teams.
Demonstrated success in building and executing business plans in high-growth environments.
Experience in direct surgeon engagement and leading tender or capital equipment sales processes.
Collaborative, hands-on leadership style with a willingness to spend significant time in the field.
Desirable:
Exposure to robotics, AI, or other technology-led platforms with long sales cycles.
Experience balancing corporate structure with family-run values.
Strong understanding of NHS procurement and tender processes.
