Field Operations Engineer

You will service and maintain autoclaves, washers, and water systems through calibration, repairs, and validation. You’ll diagnose faults, support installations and commissioning, and contribute to project work while mentoring junior engineers in a small specialist team.

Our client is a leading supplier of high-quality process equipment for the life sciences sector in Ireland and the UK, specialising in customised manufacturing solutions from top European suppliers. Known for their technical expertise and strong industry presence, they primarily serve pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical manufacturers, while also supporting laboratory research, development, and high-end cosmetics. As the exclusive partner of three Italian manufacturers, they deliver globally recognised equipment for sterilisation, washing, bio-decontamination, mixing, and clean utility generation.

Essential:
Prior experience in a Field Operations or Field Service role.
Close travelling distance of Sligo.
Strong mechanical and electrical engineering skillset.
Flexible, adaptive, and solutions-focused attitude.
Full and clean driving licence.
Valid passport and ability to travel within Europe.
Working knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).

Desirable:
Engineering degree or equivalent qualification.
Experience with sterilisation equipment (e.g., large porous load autoclaves).
Exposure to water treatment or process steam systems.
Familiarity with GDP/GMP compliance and documentation.

Overnight allowance (Compounds for longer trips).
