Field Service Engineer
Role Overview
You will provide on-site service, repair, and validation of decontamination equipment, troubleshoot electrical and electronic issues, and ensure HTM01-05 compliance for dental clinics and labs. You’ll travel regionally with occasional overnight stays, work independently, and maintain high standards of safety and quality.

Role Requirements
Provide field-based service, repair, and validation of decontamination equipment, primarily benchtop autoclaves, as well as washer disinfectors, RO water systems, and Smeg units.
Troubleshoot electronic and electrical components and carry out hands-on technical work to a high standard.
Support compliance-driven clients, including dental clinics and laboratories, ensuring safe and HTM01-05 compliant operations.
Travel regionally within an assigned area, with occasional national travel and up to five overnight stays per month.
Work independently and professionally, solving problems on-site and upholding client quality and safety standards.
Operate a fully equipped, unmarked company vehicle with no weekend work required.
Person Specifications
Proven field service engineering experience is essential.
Strong electromechanical engineering background.
Experience working with autoclaves, washer disinfectors, and RO water systems is desirable.
Relevant decontamination qualifications (e.g., HTM01-05 compliance training) are desirable.
Prior experience in medical or dental environments is advantageous.
Ability to work independently in compliance-driven environments.
Excellent fault-finding and hands-on troubleshooting skills.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Full UK driving licence required.
Flexibility to travel regionally with occasional national coverage and overnight stays.
