As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, servicing, and technical support of specialist dental and veterinary equipment across the UK. This role offers a high level of autonomy, with a focus on ensuring equipment reliability, minimising downtime, and delivering a consistently high standard of customer support.

Role Requirements

Provide installation, servicing, maintenance, and technical support for a range of advanced dental and veterinary technologies across customer sites.
Support specialist equipment including low-dose 3D X-ray systems, dental laser systems, and X-ray devices, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
Deliver effective fault diagnosis and technical problem resolution to minimise equipment downtime and maintain customer confidence.
Manage travel across the UK, primarily supporting an established customer base throughout the South of England, while undertaking some product preparation and testing from home.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by sharing technical feedback and field insights with internal teams.
Maintain accurate service documentation, system records, and visit reports while identifying and communicating potential commercial opportunities to the sales team where appropriate.

Person Specifications

Minimum Level 3 qualification in Electrical Engineering.
Previous experience working within a service engineering or technical support environment.
Military engineering experience is desirable.
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities.
Comfortable working independently and managing field-based activities.
Professional customer-facing communication skills and a proactive approach to service delivery.

Package

Base salary up to £55,000.
Discretionary performance bonus.
Company van.
Private healthcare.
25 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
