Role Overview

As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, service, and maintenance of a wide range of medical and dental equipment in a customer-facing role.

You will cover the whole of Scotland, with a key focus on:

Aberdeen
Edinburgh
Glasgow

We’re supporting an ambitious and growing medical equipment business that has seen consistent growth in recent years and continues to expand across the UK. Due to this success, they are looking to hire a Field Service Engineer to support customers across Scotland.

Role Requirements

Installation for all equipment including Microscopes, patient furniture, colposcopes, Xion equipment, and general medical & dental equipment
Servicing & Maintenance of all equipment.
Providing excellent quality support for all customers when required.
Administrative duties to be completed via the CRM system.
Work closely with colleagues to provide customer feedback and insights.

Person Specifications

Previous experience as a Field Service Engineer
Electro-mechanical skillset
Open on industry background (medical, military, or similar preferred)
Comfortable with travel across Scotland
Full UK driving licence
Good IT skills and ability to work with software systems
Strong customer-facing and communication skills
Self-motivated with a flexible approach

Package

Base salary: £36,000
Guaranteed bonus: £16,000 annually (paid quarterly, post-probation)
Overtime paid at 1.5x
Company van (tail lift included)
Private healthcare (post-probation)
Pension scheme
£100/month lunch allowance
25 days holiday + bank holidays
Tools, laptop, and phone provided
No on-call requirement
