Role Overview

Based mainly in Leatherhead, you will be responsible for the servicing and maintenance of all Photophysics’ kinetic and spectrophotometric products for academic and commercial laboratories. You will also be travelling to Europe to service equipment for customers across other territories.

This leading company supplies both academic and commercial customers in the life science sector with instruments used to study various sample properties.

Role Requirements

Install and provide basic user training for new instruments at customer laboratories.
Maintain, service, upgrade and repair of existing instruments at customer laboratories.
Respond to customer support enquiries and managing after sales opportunities.
Manage cases in order to achieve set KPIs and customer expectations.
Promote and sell Applied Photophysics’ after sales products and services.

Person Specifications

B.Sc. in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering or equivalent experience.
Knowledge and experience of absorbance or fluorescence spectroscopic techniques.
Excellent computer skills.
