Role Requirements
Role Overview
o Regional based Field Service Engineer position covering the East Midlands
o Focus on Life Science equipment such as Flow Cytometry (ZE5 systems), Cell Analysis and general lab equipment with future exposure to Clinical Diagnostics & Blood Transfusion
Key Responsibilities
o Planned preventative maintenance, servicing and breakdown repair
o Installation and commissioning of new equipment
o Providing technical support across laboratory and hospital environments
o Ensuring high performance and uptime of critical equipment
o Delivering a strong customer-focused service
Travel & Working Pattern
o Territory is regional around M1, M40 and M11
o Rare overnight stays (1 per month, optional)
o No weekend work
o Flexible working hours, no standard overtime structure
Person Specifications
o Field Service experience within the Life Science, laboratory or medical device sector is essential
o Key attributes: strong attitude, ownership mindset, and understanding of working on critical equipment
Package
Base salary: up to £48,000
• Bonus: 7%
• Company car (VAG group)
