Area Manager
Role Overview
Drive growth across NHS and private laboratories by positioning immunodiagnostic solutions that support accurate, timely clinical decision-making. You will take ownership of your territory, combining technical understanding with a consultative approach to help customers address diagnostic challenges.

Role Requirements
Identify and develop opportunities across NHS and private laboratories, building structured territory plans to drive revenue and market share.
Represent the organisation professionally, maintaining strong relationships and credibility with laboratory customers and stakeholders.
Provide accurate forecasting to support supply planning and consistent performance across the territory.
Act as a first point of contact for customers, coordinating with internal teams to ensure effective issue resolution and service delivery.
Attend exhibitions and scientific meetings to engage customers and maintain visibility within the diagnostics community.
Manage administrative responsibilities including quotations, reporting, CRM updates, and coordination with marketing activities.
Person Specifications
Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Sciences or a related field.
Experience in clinical diagnostics sales or a similar environment preferred.
Self-motivated and organised, with the ability to manage a territory independently.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate technical detail into practical value for laboratory users.
Comfortable using CRM systems and digital tools; full UK driving licence required.
Willingness to travel beyond the core territory when required.
