Role Overview

You will build strong long-term relationships with hospital Physicians, Pharmacists, Key Opinion Leaders, Patient Advocacy Groups, and key stakeholders to maximize the potential accounts across the South East of England.

Role Requirements

Drive the implementation of the marketing/medical plan through KOL engagement and data dissemination.
Identify the needs of the KOLs, investigators, and other stakeholders in patient care for Sickle Cell Disease.
Establish strong professional relationships and provide credible scientific expertise with compliance.
Partner with Health Care Professionals (HCPs), Disease Societies, Medical Institutions and Patient Advocacy Groups in a compliant manner.
Execute business strategy according to account plans to maximize national sales outcomes.
Support business planning with insight into market needs through analysis and forecasting.

Person Specifications

A degree in life sciences, natural sciences or similar, with knowledge and experience in haematology, oncology and/or rare diseases.
ABPI qualified
5+ years’ experience working in the pharmaceutical industry or related medical/ scientific experience and jobs with a medical/scientific focus.
Significant experience in professional networking with positive, mutually beneficial outcomes.
Good knowledge of external regulatory/clinical research, clinical development practices, and regulations.
Can demonstrate an in-depth understanding of the UK NHS and key stakeholders, hospital reimbursement, and relevant data on promoted products.
